Archery 101
In this class you will learn and follow proper range safety and archery etiquette, be introduced to a basic shooting form and aiming style, participate in many fun games, and learn how to properly complete a formal “scoring” or competition round that many professional archers participate in. On a typical day, you will make your way to the class, take role, receive instruction on a special shooting skill for that day, warm up with a few rounds of shooting arrows, and then participate in a fun, engaging game. New games will be presented every day! All levels of archery experience are welcome to participate in this
unique class.

Hello, aspiring archers! My name is Keira Brooks, and I am excited to be coaching the Cuesta College for Kids Archery class this summer. This will be my second year leading this class and my fourth year coaching archery across various other programs and businesses. When I’m not leading an archery group, you can find me at the many ranges around SLO practicing my own shooting skills while working and having fun with my fellow archer friends. I look forward to seeing you all this summer! |
