Student Equity Initiatives
Student Equity Initiatives is focused on fostering and sustaining a culture that values inclusiveness, excellence, and a dedication to student academic success and equity that informs and shapes college policies and practices.
The work of Student Equity Initiatives is equity-minded and race-conscious. We seek to:
- Design and implement initiatives informed by research, best practices, and student data and grounded in diversity, equity, and inclusion to contribute to the college’s efforts to close student equity gaps.
- Contribute to the enhancement and expansion of academic and student success programs to promote students’ sense of belonging, engagement, retention, and completion.
- Develop and maintain healthy and productive working relationships with colleagues across the college in service to our students.
- Reach and serve diverse student populations and their families.
