Dear Cuesta College Community,

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused unprecedented challenges and changed the way we interact as a community. The shelter in place order and social distancing require us to explore different options for celebrating graduation.

We asked our graduating students and they responded. In fact, the 1,125 students surveyed made it clear that they prefer to walk across the stage at an in-person ceremony. Students want the opportunity to celebrate with their family and friends present as they receive their diploma. We also want to celebrate on May 22nd and will do so virtually with videos and social media posts.

Commencement will be Friday, December 18, 2020.

Thank you for your patience as Cuesta College has worked diligently to ensure that we appropriately celebrate our student graduates on their achievement.
