Dear Cuesta Cougars,

There is good news to share as we head into Spring Break.

In response to the unprecedented disruption caused by COVID-19, the CSU and UC are granting greater flexibility for students in meeting transfer requirements. Earlier today, Dr. Armstrong, President of Cal Poly, confirmed they are pleased to offer the CSU flexibility to transfer students. Cuesta College is extending the opportunity to select Pass/No Pass (P/NP) grading in alignment with the CSU and UC options. Details for selecting P/NP grading will be provided after Spring Break. With the P/NP grading option, we want to support you in staying enrolled in and successfully completing your courses. We have financial, academic, and student support services available for you - follow this link and select Instructional Continuity.

We are thinking of you and recognize this is not the Spring Break you were looking forward to when the semester began. The uncertainty of coronavirus, the isolation of social distancing, and the challenge of fully remote instruction create a unique experience that may be overwhelming. We are here for you, even during Spring Break, simply email and you’ll be connected with support services.

Stay well and do something you love over break!
