Getting Comfortable with your Microsoft Windows Computer
Many of us have experienced frustration with the demands of ever-changing computer technology. And likewise, many older users have grown weary asking our children or grandchildren for help. This class is an opportunity to meet other people with similar goals. It is geared for people with entry level skills with the computer. That means those who at least have reasonable ability to use a computer mouse for navigating and some keyboard skills. Absolute beginners are also welcome and will also be able to make progress. Inevitably there are students at different levels, and we will aim for a class atmosphere in which people cooperate and help each other out.

As a teacher since 1985 I have been using Microsoft products regularly to create curriculum
materials for class and everything needed for administrative tasks. In the 1980s,
while living in Tokyo, Japan I used Apple computers exclusively. At that time, the
most used software for Macintosh computers was created by Microsoft. I switched almost
exclusively to Microsoft Windows computers in the mid-1990s with the advent of the
World Wide Web. I became a website creator from those days in the late 1990s and have
consistently been involved in teaching and coaching other users in all things MS Windows
computers for more than 30 years. |
