Spring Semester Begins Jan. 21
SAN LUIS OBISPO – Cuesta College gears up for an exciting spring semester, beginning January 21 through May 23. Students can explore a wide range of classes through the class finder and register at bit.ly/cuestaregistration. Late registration is available through February 2 with instructor approval. Cuesta College also offers short-term courses ranging from three to 17 weeks for added flexibility. Credit courses are $46 per unit, and noncredit courses are free.

Cuesta College is excited to announce the launch of its new Commercial Driver's License (CDL) program, starting this March at the North County Campus in Paso Robles. The program is tailored to address the growing need for skilled commercial drivers, equipping students with the training and expertise required for job readiness. Cuesta College’s agriculture program continues to grow with exciting new courses in animal science and blacksmithing. Students can also explore plant and soil science, ranch management, and more. From cultivating fields to forging tools, these hands-on classes provide practical skills to prepare for careers in farming, ranching, and beyond. Agriculture courses are available at the San Luis Obispo and North County campuses.
Now entering its fourth year, Cuesta College Corps encourages current and prospective students to make community service a cornerstone of their college experience while gaining valuable career preparation. College Corps is a statewide, paid service program that provides college students meaningful work in exchange for service to their communities. Fellows can earn up to $10,000 for completing community service addressing education, food insecurity, and climate action. The application for the 2025-26 cohort opens in February.

Cuesta College courses are available at three locations throughout San Luis Obispo County, including campuses in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles and the South County Center at Arroyo Grande High School. Classes are also offered online, and local high school students can participate in the College and Career Access Pathways Program.
