There is still time to register for hundreds of classes available at Cuesta College for the Fall 2018 semester. Courses are offered on the San Luis Obispo (SLO) Campus, the North County Campus in Paso Robles, the South County Center in Arroyo Grande, and online. The Fall semester begins August 13th and runs through December 14th.
Students can now register for courses in the areas of agriculture, architecture, biology, business, computer information systems, English, engineering, film television and electronic media, graphic design, mathematics, welding, and more.
Beginning in Fall 2018, students will have the opportunity to pursue various new certificates and courses. They include:

Also new this Fall is the expansion of the Cuesta College Promise Scholarship to include a second year of fee-free education. All SLO County high school seniors graduating this year will be the first class eligible to obtain two full years of fee-free education at Cuesta College. The deadline to apply for the scholarship is August 1st. More information is available in this press release or by contacting the Promise Hotline at (805) 546-3153. Additionally, various forms of Federal and State financial aid opportunities are currently still available to students via the college’s Financial Aid Department.
For students who may not be able to commit to a full semester, late-start courses provide an additional option. Typically beginning in September and October, these courses run between 17 and three weeks in length and include topics such as astronomy, computer information systems, English, kinesiology, psychology, and more.
Prospective Student Workshops are being held over the coming weeks on both the SLO and North County campuses, Cuesta College representatives will be on hand to answer questions about the college and help with the registration process. Students on both the SLO and North County campuses can once again enjoy free Regional Transit Authority (RTA) bus services for the first two weeks of classes by showing their student ID or printed class schedule.
