I’ve been spending time with the egrets of Morro Bay, and the birds in this image are from a series of photographs made this year. The birds are a balm in these difficult times, and I look upon them with love and gratitude. So unaware of what we humans are going through, a testament to nature’s ongoing power of regeneration.
