CANCER: A LOVE STORY
PERFORMANCE BY CHRISTEN CLIFFORD
FEBRUARY 13, 2020 | 5:30–7pm, Room 5401
Artists have long used their contemporary practices to wrestle with grief and mourning—both personal and collective. Through their distinct practices, this diverse group of artists weaves a collective response to these narratives of loss. They ravel and unravel their own experiences with each others’ - culminating in an exhibition where anyone can find a place to enter, sit, and not feel alone.
Participating artists include: Christen Clifford, Ashley Eva Brock, Maryanne Casasanta, Laura Krifka, Joanne Ruggles, Cherith Lundin, David JP Hooker, Jeff Frost, Stephanie Allen, Amy Khoshbin, Melissa Cody, Angela Hennessy, Jamee Crusan, Janaka Stucky, Charley Friedman and Susan Clinard.
