FINANCIAL AID & SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Financial aid and scholarships are available for nursing students.  In order to meet college deadlines, applicants should apply for financial aid and/or scholarships. See deadlines below.

FAFSA and CADAA applications are available starting October 1 through June 30. You must submit FAFSA or CADAA by   March 3 to apply for a Cal Grant and/or Cuesta Scholarships. You can still submit FAFSA or CADAA after March 3 to apply for other types of aid.

Deadline to submit Scholarship applications is March 3, 2025 for the 2025-2026

 IMPORTANT: Although completing a FAFSA or CADAA is not required to submit a scholarship application, we HIGHLY encourage you to submit a financial aid application because some scholarships are based on need.

• Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) from Cuesta`s Financial Aid website.
• Complete a Cuesta College Scholarship application on Cuesta`s Financial Aid website.

TEAS TESTING

The Cuesta nursing department offers complimentary TEAS testing for students applying to the Cuesta RN program. Starting in September 2025 you will find the October 2025 test dates and the link to register for the TEAS test on this webpage.
