The LVN Program has been approved by the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT) to return to a 12-month program.

LVN Program Eligibility Requirements and Prerequisite Courses
IMPORTANT! Please refer to the 2025 LVN Application Instructions above for compete instructions and information.
1. Current California Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification - Obtained by December 31st (year before application). (Students admitted to the program must keep their CNA certification Active throughout the program)
2. Proof of completion of 12th grade education or equivalent (or higher degree).
3 Prerequisite Coursework - completed by December 31st (year before application) with a grade of 'C' or better.
