Teacher Pathways Graduate Assistant: Nayeli Gonzalez

Nayeli Gonzalez is a graduate student in the Higher Education Counseling and Student Affairs Program at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Originally from Los Banos, California, Nayeli attended UC San Diego in Political Science, with an emphasis in American Politics. During her undergrad, she had the opportunity to work as a College Ambassador, Residential Assistant, and bilingual paraprofessional. With her time spent in education, Nayeli has developed a strong passion for social justice work, DEI, and restorative justice practices. She is dedicated to serving marginalized communities and restoring the relationship between student and institution. Nayeli is very excited to be a graduate assistant for Teacher Pathways as she loves to learn about the experiences of folks in the program and find ways empower each other!
Teacher Pathways Peer Mentor: Angelina (Angie) Davis

Angelina (Angie) Davis is the Peer Mentor for Future Teacher Pathways. She is finishing her ADT in Elementary Teaching and will be graduating in Spring 2022. Angie went to Templeton High when she found her passion for teaching volunteering at the daycare near her school. She hopes to go to CSUMB and get her credentials to teach at an elementary school level.
