SAN LUIS OBISPO – Nationally-acclaimed Cuesta College Drama presents an encore production of Charlotte’s Web from June 20–23 at the Harold J. Miossi Cultural and Performing Arts Center at Cuesta College’s San Luis Obispo Campus.

The 60-minute adaptation of the classic story of friendship will warm hearts young and old as it charms its way into the CPAC’s Experimental Theatre. “In our version, we honor E. B. White’s tale of Wilbur and Charlotte while also updating some of the wonderful characters,” said Director bree valle*. “The message is positive and heartwarming. The characters are hilarious—who doesn’t love an arrogant French rat?!”

New for this year’s production is the addition of music and a special treat for the audience that will remain a surprise. “You’ll have to come and see for yourself,” said valle. “Last year we had such a huge response—we sold out the entire run with an ecstatic audience. It’s not unusual for kids (and adults!) to talk back to the characters onstage. We love that. It’s really an excellent show for the whole family.”

Charlotte’s Web will play for one weekend only during the following days and times:
Thursday, June 20 at 7:00 p.m.
Friday, June 21 at 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., & 7:00 p.m.
