University Transfer/Career Center Faculty Coordinator
Hello! My name is Kate Porter, and I have worked at Cuesta College as a counselor for over twenty years. I also serve as Coordinator for our University Transfer/Career Center, and host many of our transfer workshops. I love my job, and consider it a privilege to be able to work with students from all backgrounds. I believe that a college education is transformative, and leads to greater opportunities and overall life satisfaction. It is an honor to be able to journey with students through their education at Cuesta College and support students in accomplishing their educational goals. When I am not working you might find me hiking, at the beach, working in my garden or enjoying time with my family.
