Aqua Fitness
Splash into these low-impact fitness opportunities that are easy on the joints and good for the mind and body. All levels of fitness are welcome! Fully accessible ADA lifts available.
Choose between three options:
Aqua Aerobics: Join this high-energy cardio and conditioning class and take advantage of some of latest aquatic fitness exercises. HIIT and Tabata training is incorporated into some classes to help challenge you to achieve your fitness goals. Maintain or jump-start your fitness program! Excellent cross-training. Water shoes recommended.
Aqua Pilates-Yoga: Core-centered poses and positions that help with posture, alignment, and balance. Listen to relaxing music as you focus on breathing deeper into each pose.
Deep Water Aqua Aerobics: Dive into a challenging deep-water class including segments of high intensity training movements (HIIT and Tabata) along with movements to improve core stabilization, strength and range of motion. Buoyancy belts recommended for all deep-water classes.
FALL 2024
- Registration opens: August 7 at 1pm.
- Course fees based on $8/class meeting.
- Off Days: varies by class, pay close attention to class information when registering.
- A $10 CANCELLATION FEE PER PERSON, PER CLASS, WILL BE APPLIED TO ALL CANCELLATION REQUESTS.
- Cancellation requests must be received in writing 7 days before the activity begins: communityprograms@cuesta.edu
