CCAP Roles and Responsibilities
CCAP Student:
Enrollment/Student Registration Related:
- Ensure all steps of the enrollment process are completed
- Collect accurate information that may be required for Cuesta College Admissions Application and Enrollment Forms (home address, parent email address, etc.)
- (If necessary) Drop CCAP course via myCuesta portal if you have transferred out of
the High School course
- View instructions on how to drop your course
- View instructions on how to drop your course
CCAP Parent:
Enrollment/Student Registration Related:
- Create a Dynamics Form account and electronically sign the CCAP Permit to Enroll Form
- Provide student with accurate up-to-date information including your personal email address and home address for completion of student enrollment steps
- If any anytime you as a parent wish to revoke consent, please complete the revoke permission form
High School Dual Enrollment Teacher:
- For High School Teacher Led Model (High School Teacher is the Cuesta College Instructor
of Record)
- To review a High School Teacher-Led Dual Enrollment Teacher Agreement that outlines roles and responsibilities, please contact us at ccap@cuesta.edu
- For Cuesta Instructor Led Model (Cuesta College Instructor is the Cuesta College Instructor
of Record and works in collaboration with the High School Teacher)
- To review a Cuesta Instructor-Led Dual Enrollment Teacher Agreement that outlines roles and responsibilities, please contact us at ccap@cuesta.edu
Cuesta College CCAP Office:
- Works in collaboration with high school district's designated Dual Enrollment Coordinator on the CCAP course implementation
- Builds Cuesta College CCAP schedule in collaboration with the high school sites
- Communicates with High School Dual Enrollment Teachers regarding Cuesta College information, upcoming course deadlines (census roster submission, grade submission, etc.)
- Communicates with High School Dual Enrollment Teachers regarding student registration status
- Collaborates with a designated Cuesta College Faculty in discipline to serve as a “Faculty Designee” to the high school teacher
- Facilitates Curriculum Review & Course Evaluation processes in collaboration with Faculty Designees
- Serves as a point contact for Dual Enrollment collaborations with our local area high schools
