Tickets are now on sale for the seventh annual CPAC Gala, a fundraiser for the Cuesta College Cultural & Performing Arts Center (CPAC). Held over the Veterans Day holiday weekend on Sunday, November 12 in the CPAC, this year’s event - “Made in the U.S.A., A Celebration of American Music” – is a tribute to classic American music. The gala will feature the ‘Queen of Ragtime’ Mimi Blais, ‘Mr. Boogie-Woogie’ Carl Sonny Leyland, and banjo-and-piano-man Gary Ryan.

“We are so excited to host this sweeping musical tribute and honor our veterans,” said CPAC Council President Roxanne Carr.

“The show will include the SLO County Trumpet Alliance and the Cuesta Wind Ensemble performing composer Aaron Copland’s ‘A Lincoln Portrait,’ narrated by KSBY Anchor Dan Shadwell. Last year’s gala sold out, so I highly recommend purchasing tickets early!”

The Annual CPAC Gala is organized by the CPAC Council, a group of community leaders and Cuesta College staff working to further the mission of the CPAC. The CPAC houses teaching facilities for student musicians, singers and actors while providing a unique venue for community activities, and includes a 450-seat main stage theater and 150-seat experimental theater.
