Pre-Nursing & Allied Health majors find basic, essential information here!

  • Visit the Nursing and Allied Health Department Website for updated program information and to view the requirements for all Nursing and Allied Health programs: Registered Nursing, Licensed Vocational Nursing, EMS, Paramedic, Psychiatric Technician, Phlebotomy, Nursing Assistant and Medical Assistant programs.
  • Meet with a Counselor to learn about the prerequisite requirements for admission all programs! Please contact the Counseling Department at (805) 546-3138, or visit the Counseling Department contact page. A counselor will help you develop a Student Education Plan and evaluation transfer credit for RN program equivalency.
  • Get Pre-RN Priority Registration (see policy) for early registration access to Human Physiology and Microbiology classes. You must schedule an appointment with a counselor to be approved for priority registration.  View Flyer
  • Make an Individualized Student Education Plan (SEP) appointment to stay on track to complete all program prerequisites and degree requirements!
