Cuesta College offers a broad array of resources to help students achieve academic and personal goals. Whether our students need help improving their academic studies, securing childcare or finding a place to live, Cuesta College can help.

Disabled Student Programs and Services (DSPS): DSPS provides specialized assistance for more than 650 students with disabilities. Services include alternative testing options, sign language interpreters, recorded textbooks, Braille and much more.

Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS): EOPS provides additional assistance to students facing social, economic and educational hardships. Eligible students receive assistance with registration, applying for financial aid, one-on-one academic and vocational counseling and book grants.

Student Success Center & Tutoring Services: The Student Success Center provides academic tutoring, an open entry computer, video and audio-tutorial lab, as well as drop-in math and writing support.

Bookstore: Find full-service bookstores at the San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles campuses. The bookstore sells textbooks, general supplies, snacks, apparel, study guides and even gift cards. The store buys used textbooks. For hours, call the San Luis Obispo location at (805) 546-3206 or the Paso Robles store at (805) 591-6206.

Children’s Center: The licensed children’s centers at both the San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles campuses offer toddler and preschool programs run by Cuesta’s Early Childhood Education department. Priority is given first to Cuesta students, then faculty and staff and the public.

Health Center: Cuesta College operates two student health centers at the San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles campuses. Get treatment for short term illnesses and minor medical problems, in addition to health screenings and counseling services. The college’s health centers are supported by a nominal health fee paid by students at registration. All registered students are eligible to receive health services at either campus for no additional cost.

Housing: While Cuesta College does not provide on-campus housing, the Student Life and Leadership department does assist students with their housing search by maintaining an online housing resource that lists available places to rent, a roommate search and advice on inspecting potential properties and interacting with landlords.

MyCuesta Pathway: myCuesta Pathway is a fully online degree audit designed to help students understand their course requirements for a major, degree or certificate. The tool allows students to see a concise list of all classes they have taken at Cuesta and how those courses affect their current course of study, classes still need in order to graduate and options for those who are considering changing your major.
