Harold J. Miossi Art Gallery

Many Thanks to Fine Arts Faculty David Procheska!

After nearly twenty years at Cuesta College, David Prochaska has put together over 50 exhibitions and performances on the Cuesta Campus. Not to mention the over 30 exhibitions he has co-curated around the state including SFMoma and the former Compact Gallery in San Luis Obispo.

These exhibitions have allowed Cuesta College and the community to enjoy a vast array of artists from around the world exploring a multitude of mediums.

About The Gallery
The Harold J. Miossi Art Gallery presents an annual, juried student exhibition and a changing selection of exhibitions by professional local, national, and international visual artists. Exhibitions are contemporary in content and reflect the educational goals of the Fine Arts programs.

The Art Gallery course involves students in the installation and professional practices of the exhibitions and various aspects of gallery management. Through stimulating exhibitions and events the gallery program strives to promote dialogue and engagement between the programs in Fine Arts, Cuesta College students and staff, and the community.

The Harold J. Miossi Art Gallery, Room 7170, is located on Highway 1, halfway between San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay in the courtyard of the Cultural and Performing Arts Center. Admission to the gallery is free.
