ANNE PERRY: Put Your Heart on the Page

In Discussion with Victoria Zackheim

Anne Perry's commitment to writing has resulted in nearly eighty novels with over twenty-six million copies of her books in print. In 1998, The Times honored Anne as one of the 20th Century’s 100 Masters of Crime. Her career was launched in 1979 with the publication of The Cater Street Hangman, the first of the Thomas and Charlotte Pitt mysteries series that now numbers nearly thirty. Her William Monk Series boasts nineteen novels.

Anne travels worldwide to teach and meet her readers. Somewhere along her author journey she met and teamed with author and editor Victoria Zackheim. Together, Anne and Victoria will ponder how to Put Your Heart on the Page, silencing that inner voice that censors what we do or think. Their goal is to empower readers and writers with the courage and confidence to not only do battle with those demons...but actually slay them, thereby enriching their daily lives and careers. Go behind the scenes as Victoria explores Anne’s writing process, cajoles her to reveal anecdotes from her book tours, and encourages her to share writing advice that will benefit all writers from beginners to professionals.
