Video Game Creation

Don’t just play games, make them! If you’ve got a passion for video games or want a simple introduction about game programming, this class just might be the perfect match for you. Learn to create a multi-level arcade or platform style video game, like Super Mario or Space Invaders, using introductory graphical programming software for kids. Students will have the option to choose characters and game objects from a clip art library or create their own characters. After students make your own games, they will bring their game home with on a flash drive at the end of the class. They can get a copy of their classmates’ games as well. Games will require a Windows PC to run.
