An introduction to the world of computer animation! Students will learn how to create their own animated cartoons. They will learn the basic principles of animation and the application of those principles in bringing a character to life through the mechanics of motion. Students will learn how to draw characters, animate them with the help of movement guides, use timelines and layers, and finally add titles and sound to bring their characters and stories to life. Students bring home class creations on a flash drive at the end of the course.
