The San Luis Obispo Master Chorale is a community ensemble that performs major works for chorus and orchestra. Conductor Thomas Davies and accompanist Susan Azaret Davies are in their 34th year of leading the ensemble.
The San Luis Obispo Master Chorale’s repertoire is primarily works for chorus and orchestra. Two programs will be given this Fall. On November 18, “An Evening in Vienna” will feature Beethoven’s “Mass in C”, selections from Johann Strauss’ “Die Fledermaus”, and Johannes Brahms’ “Zieguenerlieder” (Gypsy Songs). On Friday, December 15, the SLOMC will hold its annual “Sing Along Messiah”. All performances are in Harman Hall of the San Luis Obispo Performing Arts Center.
