CFK Business and Finance

Kids in Business

Many kids today are starting their own businesses. These businesses range from providing services such as pet sitting and computer repairs, to selling products. But, what does it really take to start and operate a business? In this class you will study successful young entrepreneurs and learn the basics of how to start your own business. You will be introduced to how business ideas are created, where the money comes from to start a business, what legal issues may need to be considered, the contents of a business plan, and how to operate a business. Everyone will have fun learning about entrepreneurship through class activities and games.
