Mission Statement

The Cuesta College Cultural Center (CCCC) embraces and celebrates the diverse cultural heritage that all Cuesta College students, faculty, and staff bring to the community.

Goals

The mission statement of the Cuesta College Cultural Center is further defined by the goals stated below.

The Cuesta College Cultural Center encourages open dialogue about critical issues on campus concerning (but not limited to):

  • Class
  • Disability
  • Ethnicity
  • Gender
  • Historical and current realities that shape society’s collective and individual perceptions
  • Language
  • Nationality
  • Race
  • Religion
  • Sexual orientation

The Cuesta College Cultural Center supports exploration and awareness of diversity through:

  • Events and activities
  • Films
  • Human interaction for the purpose of exchanging, sharing, and understanding all cultures
  • Literature
  • Music
