The San Luis Obispo Master Chorale (SLOMC) is looking for new members as it gears up to kick off its fall 2017 season. The group will hold auditions on September 11 at 7:00 p.m. in building 5400 (room 5401) on Cuesta College’s San Luis Obispo Campus. The 100-voice ensemble is comprised of musicians from throughout San Luis Obispo County. A part of Cuesta College for 34 years, the SLOMC is conducted by Dr. Thomas Davies and accompanied by Susan Azaret Davies.

This fall, SLOMC will host two programs. On November 18, “An Evening in Vienna” will feature Beethoven’s “Mass in C,” plus selections from Johann Strauss’ “Die Fledermaus,” and Johannes Brahms’ “Zieguenerlieder” (Gypsy Songs). On December 15, the SLOMC will hold its third annual “Sing-Along Messiah.” All performances will be held in Harman Hall at the Performing Arts Center of San Luis Obispo, located on the Cal Poly campus.

This year, singers from all vocal categories (soprano, alto, tenor, and bass) are invited to audition. For further information, and to schedule an audition, visit the San Luis Obispo Master Chorale website.
